This was a historical fiction/romance (set in 1869). The story of a young girl (18) from the east who sets out to find her only living relative in Montana Territory. I am amazed at the courage it took to settle this country. Stories like this give our history flesh and bones. The author makes the characters 'real'.

I always enjoy books written by Robyn Carr. This one was different in that it was the story of three generations of women struggling with relationships. It was funny. It was serious. I would like to see it on the big or small screen!

What a fun book! For Duck Dynasty fans, this book gives us a look at the serious side of SI without losing sight of his zaniness.

Audiobooks are great for road trips! Seabiscuit was an amazing horse. This book showed the love the main characters had for this phenomenal horse. It must have been quite a time to live, to see Seabiscuit race.

For Packer Fans this is a must read. For anyone who wants to read a feel good, rags to riches story, this is it! My husband is not a reader, but he enjoyed reading this book.

Author: Debbie Macomber

Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors. I just recently have been able to read as much as I want. So I am catching up on all her books! Susannah's Garden is great; characters you care about; interesting story line; plus I was caught by surprise with the ending!

We were going on a long road trip. We heard that Unbroken was being made into a movie. Decided to get the audiobook to listen to while we traveled. OH BOY! This book really touched me. This is the story of Louie Zamperini and his fellow POW's experience in Japanese POW camps. This book is a must for anyone who wants to read a story about the bravery, courage, perseverance and resilience of those who defend our freedom.

Author: Crystal McVea

This was a book about after death experience. I liked the book because the author was not a spiritual-minded individual and therefore not your typical story about going to heaven and meeting Jesus. She was also reluctant to tell her story afterwards. However, through some 'coincidences', she was convinced God wanted her story told. This is a story for anyone who thinks they are 'too bad' for God to love.

I enjoyed this book. There were several story lines. I was interested in all of them. The author was able to create characters that I cared about. The writing worked and seemed to flow easily from one story line to another. The resolutions reflected real life with all the cares and concerns we have.
