Another spine tingling Vince Flynn spy thriller. It is best to read this in the progression of Vince Flynn's other books. It is a continuation of his main character, Mitch Rapp, and his efforts to combat terrorism and take the fight to the jihadists. The reader can enjoy the book without reading the preceeding books first, however the reader gets a better feel for the Mitch Rapp character if the prior books are read first. This book is full of excitement, government ineptness, political cutthroats, terrorists, love scenes along with American ingenuity and bravery. It starts with Mitch being relegated to office work because of politicians that outed him for their own political gain which made his job extremely hard to do. Now that the terrorists know more about him they are plotting on how to kill him and his new boss wants to keep a tight leash on Mitch to make him conform to the political correctness rather than protecting his beloved country in any way possible. It leads to some very dramatic incidents that will make the reader proud and furious, all at the same time, as to what can happen with politics and how we wish it would be.

A very captivating must read book.

This spy novel is the first, in the Mitch Rapp series, that gives the reader that "All American" feeling. It gives you a sense of the recruitment, training and making of a unique individual for a specific job, that is to protect Americans from the terrorists that want to kill us all. It describes a series of events that most Americans would like to see the government doing to protect us. The intrigue and suspense leaves you wanting more of the same and anticipating the next in the series. Anyone that aspires for American greatness will love this book and basically wish that it was a reality instead of fiction. I could not put the book down until I finished it and then went back to see if there were parts that I could understand better. A must read book.

Title: Kill Shot
Author: Vince Flynn

This is a spell binding spy thriller starring Mitch Rapp in his continuing efforts to rid the world of as many terrorist killers as he can. When his assignment goes awry and almost gets him killed it causes him to wonder who he can trust in the CIA organization that is his master. He is forced to do things his own way to find who betrayed him and stay alive at the same time. This is one book in a series of Mitch Rapp books that seem to be more captivating as you progress through them. I could not put the book down and finished it in one day and found myself craving more. The twists and turns that the author puts you through causes the reader to think, how will this come out, only to put it all together with an extremely exciting conclusion.

This is an easy read fictional novel about Israeli spymaster Gabriel Allon whose regular job is an art restorer. While working for the Vatican, restoring a valuable painting he is called upon by his mentor to do a favor and meet someone that will only meet with him about secret information. When the meet goes badly with a murder on vatican property it puts Allon in a tenuous state. It also leads him across the European continent to solve the dead mans secrets that directly affect the Jewish state and Jews in general. While trying to solve the puzzle an highly elite English assassin is also after him and the world reknowned violinist that Gabriel intends to protect. As with most of the Silva books I have read this is filled with adventure, hair raising episodes and action in most of the pages. This is not a book that you can put down very easily.
