I am really looking forward to reading this series I enjoy how Jill Shalvis writes, witty, funnny and laugh out loud at some of the things in the book. I found it very funny how she came up with her characters for the book. She tells you at the end of the book
And more than worth the money. I've have read some jill Shalvis books before, I like her writing. What could have been a trite and formulaic theme actually came out as a decently rounded set of female characters. Characters who weren't sugary, but had hearts with more than a few bruises. The male characters had less depth, but their cameraderie actually had me laughing aloud---something I rarely do. Just enough heat to keep it interesting, without the trash vernacular that can be so off-putting. I like the way she balances between silly & serious, loving & lusting, fearing & trusting.
Pardon me while i go find her next book. And I hope you enjoy this one.
I hope Ms Shalvis picks up, in book two, were book one leaves off.
