The topic may seem a bit morbid but Mary Roach's book reads more like a story than a non-fiction book. She explores the various ways that cadavers are used in the medical community. Each chapter is describes a "job" that a cadaver may have from a practice face for a plastic surgeon to solving murders (think CSI). Ms. Roach weaves humor into each chapter and the science background is very interesting. Not a quick read but very educational and entertaining.
