Title: Divergent
Author: Veronica Roth

Divergent is a book that will keep you reading until your finished with the book. This is my new favorite book, I could not put it down I was up all night finishing it. I was so sad when I finished it but can't wait to read the second book Insurgent. If you liked the Hunger Games I think you would like this book. I just love everything about this book there was not a part in this book that I did not like.

Title: Divergent
Author: Veronica Roth

Divergent started off a little slow, but thats expected when the author is trying to introduce a whole knew lifestyle that's new to the world. Veronica did a good job at explaining this way of life, including discriptions of the different factions. Once Beatriss chose her new faction the book came alive, and I was hooked. I couldn't wait to get back to reading this book. It's a great page turner, and once I really got into it I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I thought the character build was well done, and I couldn't wait to get to read more of them in her next book, Insergent.  She also did a great job at keeping the energy in the book, though at times I was just reading to get to the next chapter. Overall I would recomend this book to anyone who likes adventure and books about people going into new situations.

Title: Matched
Author: Ally Condie

I don't know about anypony else, but I have the dystopian fever I cannot get enough of stories like Divergent, Hunger Games, and The Forest of Hands and Teeth. But, my absolute favorite is Matched it captured my attention from even the cover. If you look at the cover it shows a girl trapped in a bubble. Ok, nothing to exiting, I mean she has a pretty dress on. Whatever, right? Wrong! The cover is an obvious metaphor it shows that Cassia is trapped inside the Society and is controlled by them. That is what caught my attention from the beginning, the fact that a girl is controlled by others and she has no way out. The other thing that caught was the first sentence,"Now that I've found the way to fly, which direction should I go into the night?" It sent chills down my back and questions soaring through my eyes, was she confused? lost? hurt? All of those questions were answered throughout the story. One other thing about this story is that storied entertwined and you kind of have to loose yourself in the story of it all to actually uderstand it. So clear your schedule, pick up Matched from your local library, and get ready to get lost in this romance triangle known as Matched.

Author: S.D. Crockett

I regret to say, not all books are meant for all readers.  I love the concept of this book.  I find the author's ability to write in the voice of an undereducated youth remarkable.  However, I found it difficult to read through the book because of the voice.

Title: Promised
Author: Caragh O'Brien

This is exactly what I expected and didn't expect for the final book in the Birthmarked series.  I knew that coming home would be difficult, especially with masses of people in tow.  But the obstacles were unexpected, yet held true to each of the characters developed personality.  O'Brien has done a splendid job of bringing the Birthmarked series to a jaw dropping conclusion.

Title: Matched
Author: Ally Condie

This dystopian society has taken control to a new level.  Our main character is more than willing to let the government guide her life from her meal regimine to whom she is expected to marry and even knows that she will die at 80, because no one in this society lives past that age.  With interference from an unknown source we follow a story that leads to emerging free though and an unusual teenage love triangle twist.  I am cheering for the main character to step out of her role the government has set up for her, as she presses into a word of free thinking and free choice.  I can't wait to read the second book in the series.

Author: Michael Grant

[Note: Dual authors Katherine Applegate & Michael Grant]

Think back to all of your old relationships or current one. I didn't say this to scare you but for you to envision the flaws of the other person. There are always flaws or quirks that can twist and bunch your skirts! Just think of this... What if you were given the chance to create a perfect partner? I am curious about the outcome if nothing else. Daughter of a major bio-pharmaceutical mongol, Evening, is handed a program to do just that. Design a flawless mate. I want to give props to our little Eve for stopping to think about if she should create a male or female. I do love me some taboo even if it is for a split minute.

Right from the beginning of Eve & Adam the hustle and bustle made it to be a very fast and inviting read straight away. It was just so riveting that my tea got cold due to me being stuck within the plot. The seriousness was covered up lightly with fun, which was very much appreciated.
