Title: Bite Club
Author: Rachel Caine

There's a new extreme sport getting picked up on the Internet: bare- knuckle fights pitting captured vampires against each other-or humans. Tracking the remote signal leads Claire- accompanied by her friends and frenemies-to discover that what started as an online brawl will soon threaten everyone in Morganville. This series is really surprising, just when you think everything's back to normal.. BAM. You're hit with something brand-new that you were sure couldn't happen. This book is 3.5/5 stars, the relationship between Shane and Claire just really annoyed me this book. I hate when they fight..

Something's up with the machine, but Myrnin doesn't want to believe it, so when everyone starts losing their memories it's up to Claire to remember, and to pull the plug. That won't be so easy when even Amelie forgets. I gave this book 4/5 stars. It's really fun, but when Shane forgets Claire it just really makes me sad.

Everyone knows Michael Glass is an incredible musician, so when he get called out to Dallas to cut a demo Amelie allows him permission, but there's a catch: they have to take an escort, and they all dislike each other. This is the worst road trip ever. I gave this book 4/5 stars. It's good, but I just don't like bits of it, for instance: they don't even get to Dallas until pretty much the last chapter of the book, even though the briefing on the back of the book is all about going to Dallas and it says nothing about what happens on the way there.

Title: Fade Out
Author: Rachel Caine

Things are back to normal in Morganville, or I guess as normal as things ever are, but when Eve joins the theater group and makes a new friend their lives are turned upside down, they also end up on video doing the most intimate things. This girl has put up tons of cameras all over Morganville and the only way to keep the vamps from killing her is for Claire and her friends to find her and her cameras and put a stop to it once and for all. I gave this book 5/5 stars just because it was really different from what's been going on in Morganville. It was really fun and different reading about how angry Claire actually gets, y'know because Claire's such a prissy person.

This book was sort of a disappointment. The power struggle continues, Claire makes some more bad deals, but finally we learn who wins, and that part is definitely worth reading. I gave this book 4/5 stars. Although we finally find out what happens it takes forever to find out and I just found myself getting bored. It was good, but it could have been better.

Bishop has taken over Morganville and made Claire is own human servant, but when Bishop is bored and Claire finally starts to regain control of herself will Bishop just let her walk away? There's also a storm coming to town, a horrible storm. Who survives and who doesn't? I gave this book 4/5 stars. This books is all over the place and it's just never boring, but Claire is just so daft. She's a genius but she can't seem to understand anything.

Bishop, a vampire that is Amelie's father before the afterlife and after, has come to town. He wants to takeover and destroy what Amelie has created. During the welcome ball all is decided; who wins and who loses. I gave this book 3/5 stars. It was good but I think it was just to simple. I love the action and all the romance-y parts, but I just think it could have been better.

Claire has her share of challenges. Like being a genius in a school that favors beauty over brains; homicidal girls in her dorm, and finding out that her college town is overrun with the living dead. On the up side, she has a new boyfriend with a vampire-hunting dad. But when a local fraternity throws the Dead Girls' Dance, hell is really going to break loose.

This book is about a girl, Claire who has always been the smartest and the smallest. She's only 16 years old when she decides it's time for college. She could go to any school she wanted but her parents want her close to home since she's still just a kid. So, she ends up going to the university in Morganville, Texas where there just happen to be huge secrets, for instance the town is run by vampires. Claire, after getting into it with pretty much the most powerful girl at school, has to fight for her life. They take her in at the Glass House where she finally makes some friends and get's some answer.

I give this book 5/5 stars, it's short, the covers pretty rad, and I really just love the whole story. I wasn't crazy about how it ended, I felt like they needed something, like two more pages of story, but either way it was really good.
